Animated Film Screening Event
On the 1st July IJP will be screening it's latest participatory film project at the Cabinet War Rooms. LIFE INSIDE 2010 is an event in partnership with the Howard League for Penal Reform.
The vast majority of children held in custody are males aged 15 to 17 held in young offender institutions. Life Inside 2010 is the Howard League’s first report to be led by young people and offers a unique insight into day to day life for the 1,700 young men held in prison service custody today.
The report launch will be followed by the first screening of IJP’s two new animated films and a reception.
The event participants will have exclusive access to the museum itself. The Howard League’s U R Boss project is working with young people to come up with much needed new ideas and insights on youth justice. Please join us to hear what they have to say.
Date: Thursday 1st July 2010, 6pm – 8pm
Venue: Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms, Clive Steps, King Charles Street, London SW1A 2AQ
